Jurgen Klopp is a Liverpool legend.

He won his 10th Premier League Manager of the Month award on Friday, taking home the prize for January 2024.

Klopp's EPL Manager of the Month Awards

September 2016

Klopp made history when he won the award for September 2016, becoming the first German manager to do so, per ESPN.

He led Liverpool to three victories from as many matches that month, securing wins over Leicester City (4-1), Chelsea (2-1), and Hull City (5-1).

December 2018

Klopp captured the award for the second time, leading the Reds to victory in each of their seven Premier League matches in December 2018.

Liverpool crushed the opposition during that time, scoring a league-high 22 goals and only conceding three goals.

March 2019

Klopp claimed the award for the third time, helping his side go unbeaten in March 2019.

Liverpool followed up their draw against bitter rivals Everton with victories against Burnley, Fulham, and Tottenham to go top of the Premier League table.

August 2019

Klopp was the clear choice to win the Manager of the Month award for August 2019.

He was the only Premier League boss to enjoy a perfect start to the 2019-20 season, recording four straight victories for a maximum of 12 points.

September 2019

Klopp won back-to-back Manager of the Month awards for the first time in his Premier League career, taking home the prize for September 2019.

The Reds continued their perfect start to the season, recording wins over Newcastle United, Sheffield United, and Chelsea.

November 2019

Klopp made history when he won the award for November 2019, becoming the second manager in history to capture the coaching prize in three of the first four months of a Premier League season.

He joined Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on that exclusive list after leading the Reds to four wins from as many matches during that month.

December 2019

Klopp won back-to-back Manager of the Month awards for the second time in the 2019-20 season, taking home the prize for December 2019.

The Reds continued their perfect start to the season, recording wins over Newcastle United, Sheffield United, and Chelsea.

January 2020

Klopp set a new record with his Manager of the Month award for January 2020. He became the first manager to claim five awards in a single season after leading the Reds to another perfect month.

May 2021

Klopp finished the 2020-21 season strong, leading Liverpool to five victories in May 2021. That perfect record helped the Reds qualify for the Champions League and gave Klopp his ninth Premier League Manager of the Month award.

January 2024

Klopp shocked fans when he announced that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. He's making sure he's going out with a bang, capturing the Manager of the Month award for January 2024.

Liverpool won all three of their matches in style, scoring four goals each in their victories over Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Chelsea.

Klopp joins exclusive list

Klopp moved up to fourth in the list of coaches with the most Premier League Manager of the Month awards.

Sports Brief reported that Sir Alex Ferguson still holds the record with 27.

Arsene Wenger and Pep Guardiola are ranked second and third, with 15 and 11 awards, respectively.
