Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabili has opened up on his possible move to Europe after his impressive performance at the just concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The 27-year-old was one of the best goalkeepers in the competition and kept four clean sheets as Nigeria finished second place behind the host nation.
In the semi-final, the Chippa United goalkeeper saved two penalties against South Africa, and the two goals he conceded in the final made him miss the chance to win the Golden Glove, which was awarded to Ronwen Williams.
The former Enyimba star has stamped his place as Nigeria's first-choice goalkeeper, displacing Francis Uzoho.

Nwabali's impressive outing in the African Championship has brought about talks of him moving to Europe.
Several clubs in Europe have been linked with Nwabali, but in a recent interview with Arise News, as per Soccernet, the Nigerian goalkeeper claimed he is in no rush to leave Chippa United for another club in Europe.
"People have been sending messages like they want me to move to Europe or they want me to move to a bigger club," he said.
"I really appreciate that, but to be honest, one thing about me is that I always feel comfortable even if I'm in a small place; I don't like to rush."
