As noted by GOAL, the former Real Madrid star proved to be the difference maker as he scored a late goal to give his side the win.

Al-Nassr will now take a 1-0 lead into their second leg of the round of 16 fixture, with CR7 looking to score his 875th goal of his club career. The second leg fixture will take place on February 21 at Al-Nassr's home stadium.

The Portuguese star grabbed the winner in the 81st minute when he combined with Marcelo Brozović before finishing in the top of the net.

CR7 then started running towards the corner flag to perform his Siuuu celebration but instead converted it into the Sleep celebration.

When last did Ronaldo use the celebration?

While some fans assumed it was the first time CR7 broke out the celebration, he has, in fact, used it before.

talkSPORT reported that the Portuguese star used the celebration while playing for the national team. The Al-Nassr captain performed it after scoring a brace in Portugal’s 6-0 thrashing of Luxembourg.

Cristiano Ronaldo reaches impressive milestone

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has again proven that he is the epitome of longevity by reaching a new milestone, Sports Brief reported.

The Portuguese superstar made his 1000th club appearance as he started for the Saudi Pro League side against Al-Fayha in the Asian Champions League.

Over 400 of those appearances came for Real Madrid, with a further 300 coming from his two spells at Manchester United and just over 100 with Juventus.
