According to Soccernet, the Super Eagles icon will link up with other PSG greats, including Ronaldinho, Pedro Miguel Pauleta, Claude Makelele, Javier Pastore, Didier Domi, and Nene.

PSG’s ex-players have a range of activities lined for, including a friendly game, watching the Doha Tennis Tournament, and then attending the Qatar International Food Festival for a special live cookery show.

The three-day event kicked off on Tuesday, February 13, and will run until February 15, with Okocha set to join the rest of the team in Qatar following the conclusion of the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Legends tour to promote PSG’s partnerships

Meanwhile, over 150 supporters are expected to join the PSG legends to watch their UEFA Champions League match between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Sociedad in Qatar on Wednesday, One Football reports.

This programme embodies Paris Saint-Germain's aims and ideals, which prioritise the transfer and sharing of its unique heritage with future generations.

The Legends' journey to Doha epitomises more than ever the unshakable bonds that bind the club to its partners, particularly Visit Qatar.

Okocha sends message to Iwobi

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Okocha has spoken out in favour of his nephew, Fulham footballer Alex Iwobi, following the player's online persecution by Nigerian fans.

The 27-year-old midfielder was forced to erase all of his Instagram photos following abuse from fans after being singled out for the Super Eagles' loss to Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations final.

Nigeria, despite all odds, reached the AFCON final but lost 2-1 to the Elephants, prompting fans to turn on Iwobi, but Okocha has resorted to social media to wish the midfielder the best.
