Man City make Champions League history

Beyond the win, OptaJoe reports that the scoreline helped City make Champions League history.

According to the data platform, the Cityzens are now the first team in the competition's history to score more than three goals in seven consecutive matches.

Prior to their trip to Copenhagen, the English champions had won all their European fixtures by more than three goals.

The victories include matches against Crvena Zvezda, RB Leipzig, and Young Boys.

Meanwhile, their win against Copenhagen was clouded with some unfortunate news, with Jack Grealish going off injured.

Sky Sports reports that the midfielder had to be subbed off following the injury.

City will now be shifting focus to their upcoming Premier League clash against rivals Chelsea on Saturday, February 17.

Supercomputer predicts UCL winners

Real Madrid, reigning champions City, and Bayern Munich are among the top teams still firmly in the tournament.

Arsenal are also still in the competition after they qualified for the knockouts.
