Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has been singing praises of Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali following his AFCON heroics as the Super Eagles reach the final of the competition.

The South Africa-based goalkeeper made two saves as Nigeria defeated South Africa on penalties to keep their dreams of winning a fourth AFCON alive.

Following his splendid display, ex-Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand took to social media to show his support for the Super Eagles.

Oshoala replied to his post on social media, asking if he knew about Nwabali and could get him to the English club.

"Baba you dey see Nwabali ? Help us run am Asapuuuuu," she wrote under Ferdinand's post.

Nwabali has been a revelation at the tournament, keeping four clean sheets en route to the final of the Nations Cup.
