FootballDaniele de Rossi Slams Romelu Lukaku and Leandro Paredes Despite Cagliari Win
- Romelu Lukaku and Leandro Paredes' actions infuriated Daniele De Rossi
- The AS Roma boss was not impressed despite a huge 4-0 win over Cagliari
- The Giallorossi have won three games since Jose Mourinho was sacked
AS Roma manager Daniele De Rossi has called out Romelu Lukaku's and Leandro Parades' behaviour in their 4-0 win over Cagliari.
De Rossi won his third consecutive match since replacing Jose Mourinho but was far from happy with the conduct of two of his star players.
Lukaku had a confrontation with former Everton defender Yerry Mina, with their teammates having to separate them. Paredes was later booked after clashing with Nahitan Nandez.
The actions got the players in trouble with their manager, who branded their behaviour 'truly stupid.'

"Look, I like it when players try to defend their teammates, but when leading 4-0, they need to be intelligent. We need to clamp down on this behaviour because getting booked when you are 4-0 up is truly stupid. We cannot afford to lose any of these players," said the former midfielder, as quoted by GOAL.
How AS Roma vs Cagliari unravelled
The Giallorossi made light work of Cagliari thanks to a brace from Paulo Dybala and a goal apiece from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Dean Huijsen. They have beaten Verona and Salernitana since Mourinho was relieved of his duties in mid-January.
The three wins on the bounce have seen the capital club rejuvenate their Champions League hopes. They are currently in fifth place on the Serie A standings with 38 points, one behind Atalanta in fourth, who have a game in hand. De Rossi will have his first acid test this weekend when he welcomes league leaders Inter Milan at the Olimpico.
