However, they were unable to protect the lead as Matheus Cunha bagged a hat-trick to inspire the visitors to victory.

According to OptaJoe, Chelsea have now conceded four or more goals in consecutive league games for a second time under Pochettino - something that had not been witnessed at the club since December 1989.

Meanwhile, the Blues' latest setback saw the Argentine tactician come under heavy criticism, with a section of fans calling for his sacking.

Poch speaks on Chelsea defeat

However, the former Tottenham Hotspur boss contended that he was not entirely to blame following his side's latest defeat.

According to Poch, while taking responsibility for the result, he believes the players should also take some blame.

"I think we are all not [good enough]. At the moment, that is the reality. Myself, also, to be the first responsible for this situation. What we were showing today, that we are not good enough," he said, per The Mirror.
"I agree with you 100 per cent. We didn't manage the situation properly and no-one can be safe. I don't want to come here and say 'I am the best'. We are all responsible," he added.

Chelsea's defeat at Wolves saw them drop to 11th in the standings with 31 points after 23 games.

They will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on rivals, Crystal Palace in their next match.

Chelsea fans want Poch out

Sports Brief also previously reported on a section of Chelsea fans calling for Pochettino's axing as the club manager.

The renewed calls for a new coach were led by Thiago Silva's wife, Belle, who took to X to insist, 'it is time for change.'

The Blues were humbled by Wolves at Stamford Bridge, resulting in a drop to 11th place in the Premier League table.
