The Super Eagles are in the quarter-final and face Angola on Friday, February 2, looking to seal a spot in the semis, where they could face South Africa or Cape Verde.

The Napoli striker has been instrumental in every Nigeria game at the tournament, and it was visible after they eliminated Cameroon last weekend.

Osimhen provided the first assist for Ademola Lookman's first goal. He contributed to Lookman's second goal late in the game. The Serie A Golden Boot winner was on top of the world after the final whistle against their arch-rivals.

After the game, he was captured by the CAF social media team and headed to the dressing room. While still processing the victory, he was met by teammate Alex Iwobi, who warmly embraced him.

Sports Brief also reported on Nigerian fans praising Osimhen on social media after his exceptional display against Cameroon.

The forward, who played a key role in setting up the opening goal of the night, proved to be a constant menace for the Cameroonian defence.

Nigeria hope the Serie A champions will produce the same against Angola in the quarters.
