"We know how important it is to combine football and education; I always tell people, whatever you I tell them is a testimony because it is not a hearsay that I heard it somewhere else," he said.
"I kicked my last professional football at the age of 27, and if I didn't get that little background when it comes to education, I probably would stumble.
"A lot of our legends are struggling to get involved in the system, but when you have that little education background, it helps; I am working with FIFA and CAF [evaluating games], also in the broadcasting industry.
"It's not just playing football, but if you put yourself in the educational aspect of it and learn how to talk, you can still have life after the beautiful game."

Amokachi speaks on Nigeria's performance at AFCON

Sports Brief previously reported on Amokachi reacting to Nigeria's Super Eagles performance at the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria are one of the best teams thus far, alongside giant killers Cape Verde and South Africa.

The three-time African Champions are through to the quarter-finals and will face the Palancas Negras of Angola.
