Liverpool fans are still coming to terms with the fact that Klopp will not be at the dugout next season, after his shock announcement on Friday morning.
According to The Mirror, Klopp admitted he was no longer in a position to give his best to the club and was ‘running out of energy’.
The Reds have already played a game since the announcement as they won Norwich City 5-2 in an FA Cup fourth-round tie.
Pochettino, whose Chelsea side has won five of their last seven games, is looking for another win, but Liverpool stands in the way.
Asked for the second time about Klopp, the former Tottenham boss was asked whether Klopp’s Premier League exit was a good thing.
“It's the moment for him to announce the situation. The players are professional. The players want to win. I am not seeing it is going to be a situation that is going to affect the performance,” he said, per Football London.
He added:” Of course. Special game for him. Until the end, it's going to be special always. Every time they play at Anfield, it's going to be a party always, to celebrate. But we are thinking to go there and win the game. Sorry, but we don't want to be part of the celebration.”
