Pitso Mosimane, the former Mamelodi Sundowns manager, has officially joined Saudi Arabia's Pro League club, Abha Club, in Abha, Saudi Arabia, after almost three months without a job.
Since departing from the United Arab Emirates league side, Al Wahda, late last year, the three-time CAF Champions League winner has been without a management position.
Mosimane has been charged with helping Abha Club escape relegation from the Saudi Pro League, as they are currently placed 17th on the 18-team log, GOAL reports.
With 15 games remaining in the season, the former Al Ahly and Sundowns manager and his seasoned technical team will be asked to perform the inconceivable with the Saudi Pro League side.
Mosimane's first league match in Abha will be on February 15th, when his players will return from the Asian Cup and AFCON tournament.

Abha Football Club is a professional Saudi football team headquartered in Abha that presently competes in Saudi football's top flight, the Saudi Pro League, according to Wikipedia.
The Saudi team, ranked 17th presently in the Saudi Pro League, currently plays its home games at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.
Abha Club first gained promotion to the elite league in 2005 after finishing as runners-up in the First Division. Sadly, they lasted for a single season in the topflight league as they went on to be relegated, FARPost reports.
After years of not winning anything in Saudi Arabia, they earned their first First Division title during the 2018/19 season. This also resulted in the club's third promotion to the Pro League in its history. As it stands, they have yet to win the Saudi Pro League title.
