South Africa's opponent for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Round of 16 has been confirmed after Group F wrapped up its final games on Wednesday evening.
Bafana Bafana finished second in Group E in Ivory Coast ahead of Namibia and Tunisia but conceded first place to the Eagles of Mali, who also defeated them.
After Morocco's win over Zambia and DR Congo's draw against Tanzania, the decision has been made as to who South Africa will face in the knockout round.
The 1996 AFCON winners will face Morocco in the tournament's Round 16 after the 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finalists finished top of Group F ahead of DR Congo.
