Napoli and Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen has addressed his future despite signing a new contract with the Italian champions last month.
The 25-year-old has started the 2023/24 season slowly but remains one of the best centre-forwards in the world. He has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Osimhen inked a new deal with Napoli until 2025, but he continues to be linked with moves to Premier League sides, Chelsea and Arsenal.
He has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 18 games this season amid the Serie A champions' struggles this season.
He had 30 goal contributions in 32 Serie A games last season when they won their first league title in 33 years, per Transfermarkt.
The striker, currently with Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has addressed his future and is aware of the rumours about an apparent move to the EPL.
He told CBS Sports: "Of course, when you’re one of the hottest strikers in the world you expect this type of thing; it’s one of the biggest and best leagues in the world."
"Since I’ve started, I’ve been the one making my own decisions on everything and it’s working out well for me. I already know the next step I want to take so, for now, I just want to finish the season strong."
