The second round of fixtures has been completed in Group F.

All four teams still have a shot at reaching the last 16 of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Sports Brief looks at the permutations in Group F ahead of Matchday 3.

The top two spots in Group F are still up for grabs for all four sides heading into the final round of matches.

Morocco currently hold the top spot with four points after recording a 1-1 draw against DR Congo.

The Atlas Lions are not assured of first place in the group, though, with DR Congo and Zambia trailing them by just two points, per Goal.com.

Morocco only need a point against Zambia to guarantee a spot in the last 16. The Atlas Lions will secure first place in Group F if they beat Chipolopolo in their showdown.

For DR Congo to reach the last 16, they will need to beat Tanzania in their group match. A draw may be enough for the Leopards as well if Morocco manage to beat Zambia in the other game.

For Zambia to advance to the round of 16, they will need to beat Morocco in their group finale. They will enter the knockout stage as Group F winners if that happens.

A draw may be enough for Chipolopolo as well if the game between DR Congo and Tanzania also ends in a stalemate.

For Tanzania to secure a spot in the last 16, they will need to beat DR Congo and hope for Zambia to not win against Morocco.

Having four points may be enough for the Taifa Stars to seal their passage to the next round as one of the four best third-placed teams at AFCON 2023.

They will finish third in Group F if they beat DR Congo and Zambia defeat Morocco in the other match.

Tanzania will be without their coach Adel Amrouche for the remainder of the tournament. He was suspended for eight matches after he made insulting remarks about Morocco, per ESPN.
