Who is Themba Zwane?
Themba Zwane was born on August 3, 1989, in Tembisa, South Africa.
The 34-year-old midfielder is married to Lizzy Likhayo. They have two children together.
Zwane started his football career with the Mamelodi Sundowns in 2011 and eventually became one of the club's greatest players.
He only left the team once, joining Mpumalanga Black Aces on loan in the 2013-14 season.
That experience did Zwane good as he established himself in the first team of Sundowns soon after.
He has scored 55 goals for the Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League, 21 of which came in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.
Zwane has won numerous individual awards at club level, including PSL Footballer of the Season, PSL Player's Player of the Season, PSL Midfielder of the Season, Sundowns Player of the Season, and Sundowns' Players' Player of the Season in the 2019-20 campaign.
He also won the PFA Player of the Year in the 2020-21 season.
He has won the South African Premier Division eight times, including each of the last six editions.

He has been representing South Africa on the international stage since 2014. He was called up by Bafana Bafana for friendlies in Australia and New Zealand, per SBS.
