- An official from the club has discussed the reports claiming the ex-Al Ahly coach rejected the club
Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs has addressed the reports that former Mamelodi Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane has turned down a move to the club.
The South African tactician's next club is yet to be determined since leaving United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda in November 2023.
Mosimane was reported to be AmaKhosi's top target to take over as the permanent coach at the club.
Reports by Soccer Laduma claimed that the 59-year-old has rejected an offer from the Glamour Boys.
Kaizer Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr. took to his official handle, X (formerly known as Twitter), to deny the report about Mosimane rejecting the club.
"You are reporting fake, irresponsible and intentionally fabricated information," Motaung Jr. responded to Soccer Laduma.
After denying the reports from Soccer Laduma on X, some Chiefs fans asked Motaung Jr. to prove the South African media outlet wrong by appointing Mosimane.

Mosimane on Kaizer Chiefs' coaching job
Sports Brief earlier reported on Pitso Mosimane discussing the challenges he might face if he takes up the coaching job at Kaizer Chiefs.
The South African tactician is open to taking up a new challenge after leaving Al Wahda, but some things still needed to be put in place before accepting the role.
