Kudus seized the moment to display his quality and revive Ghana's slim hopes of progressing to the knockout stage of the tournament.

From his club West Ham United to the Premier League and former football stars, Kudus has been hailed for his display.

"You need just one moment to show your worth. That is kudusssss," wrote former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan on X, formerly Twitter.

Kudus opened the scoring for Ghana at the stroke of half-time with a ferocious strike before adding his second following a brilliant one-two with Dennis Odoi on the right flank.

"A brace from Mo earns Ghana a draw against Egypt," wrote West Ham United on social media after the match.

The Hammers also shared videos of Kudus' goals as they celebrated their attacker for his Man of the Match performance.

The Premier League were not left out of the moment, as they posted: "Mohammed Kudus scored twice in Ghana's 2-2 draw with Egypt tonight."

Majeed Waris, a former Ghana striker and a product of the Right to Dream Academy took to X to celebrate Kudus.

"Respect to the name," he wrote.
