Fans of the Black Stars in Cote d'Ivoire held an open prayer session for the national team ahead of their crucial Africa Cup of Nations game against Egypt on Thursday.
The Black Stars lost their opening match to Cape Verde last Sunday and need a win to revive their chances of progressing to the next stage of the competition.
The four-time African champions have struggled in recent times and have not won a game at the tournament since 2019.
In a video shared on social media, the fans, who travelled to Abidjan for the tournament gathered at their base at the Freewill Hotel to hold serious prayers for the team.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars desperately need talismanic attacker Mohammed Kudus back in the team for the important game following his absence in the first match due to injury.
The West Ham United attacker, who is yet to be declared fit for the Egypt game trained with the rest of the team on Wednesday evening in Bingerville, as shared on social media.
The Black Stars currently sit bottom of Group B with Mozambique and Cape Verde ahead of the 1982 champions.
Kudus trains ahead of Egypt clash
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that talismanic midfielder Mohammed Kudus could be available for selection ahead of the crunch match against Egypt on Thursday, January 18.
Kudus, who missed the Black Stars' game against Cape Verde, joined the rest of his teammates for training on Wednesday night.
According to KingFut, the Ghana Football Association's Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, has confirmed that Kudus has already joined the full-team training session, and there is general hope that he will be fit for the Egypt game.

Sports Brief also reported that musician, Livingstone Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has called on Ghanaians to not give up on the Black Stars despite their poor start to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat in their opening Group B game against Cape Verde.
The Black Stars' hopes of progressing to the next stage will be tested by seven-time champions, Egypt, on Thursday in Abidjan.
