Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen, has confirmed his interest in playing in the English Premier League.
The 2023 Africa Player of the Year is currently in Cote d'Ivoire, hoping to help the Super Eagles win the Africa Cup of Nations for the fourth time in their history.
Osimhen scored as Equatorial Guinea held the three-time champions to a draw in their opening Group A game.
Ahead of Wednesday's game against hosts, Ivory Coast, the Super Eagles players were allowed to engage the media at their base in Abidjan.
The Napoli striker, who extended his contract in December, admitted he has an interest in eventually playing in the Premier League.
"Of course, one day, definitely," he told Toni Afoke for Sky Sports. "For now, I have other plans in my career I am looking forward to but when the time comes, everyone knows," he added.
Osimhen is currently on the radar of several clubs, with Chelsea reportedly preparing an offer for the lanky forward.
The 25-year-old made history last season after leading Napoli to their first-ever title in 33 years. He also finished the season as Serie A's top scorer, as reported by Mega Icon Magazine.
