However, security were at hand to deal with the situation as they made sure no fan got close to the players, who were leaving the pitch at the end of the match.
In a video shared on social media, a couple of fans were spotted breaking away from the stands as they entered the stadium, trying to reach some of the players.

Guinea were reduced to ten men just before the break after forward Francois Kamano was sent off.
The Indomitable Lions took advantage of the red card as they levelled moments after the break through Frank Magri's header.
The five-time champions will next face holders Senegal in the Group C headliner, per Al Jazeera.

The Cameroonian Football Federation president was at the Stade de Yamoussoukro to support the five-time African champions.
However, despite playing most of the game with a man advantage, Cameroon had to come from a goal down to draw 1-1 in their first game of the tournament.
