Antonio Rudiger Pinches Luka Modric’s Chest a Few Days After Alvaro Morata Incident

The weird and hilarious freak that is Antonio Rudiger struck again moments after Real Madrid had beaten Barcelona to the Spanish Super Cup on January 14.

The El Classico staged in Saudi Arabia was lopsided, with Vinicius Junior grabbing a first-half hat trick to put the game beyond Barcelona's reach.

It was the second time this season that Carlo Ancelotti was getting the better of Xavi Hernandez after a league win last year.

After the game, Rudiger dug into his usual controversial self as he was spotted pinching Luka Modric in the chest amid the celebrations. Rudiger lasted the entire 90 minutes, while Modric was a late substitute for Toni Koos.

Rudiger's incident with Morata

The German defender was on the spot for similar antics in the semifinals against city rivals Atletico Madrid, as reported by Sports Brief. The evenly contested match, which went into extra time, saw Rudiger face his former Chelsea teammate Alvaro Morata on more than one occasion. At one point in the game, Rudiger was seen pinching the Spanish striker, who was far from pleased.

Extra time goals from Joselu and Brahim Diaz were enough to see Real Madrid to the final after a classic three-all draw in normal time.

However, unlike Morata, Modric didn't react badly to Rudiger's behaviour as they continued celebrating their latest victory.

In the same game, Sports Brief reported that Jude Bellingham slapped Rudiger on the hip in the same game during the cup celebrations. The Real Madrid players have been involved in feisty but friendly celebrations in recent times.
