The family of Ghanaian defender, Denis Odoi, travelled from Belgium to watch the defender feature for the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The Belgian-born switched allegiance to represent Ghana at international level in 2022 and has since been a regular member of the Black Stars.
Odoi was named in Ghana's final squad for the tournament and started the first game for the Black Stars against Cape Verde.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the wife of the player, together with his children, were spotted in Abidjan as they made their way to the Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium for the Group B opener.
"Their father (Denis Odoi), my husband is playing for the Ghana team," said his wife on GTV. "We are here to support him and see how the Ghanaian team goes to the game and for the atmosphere," she added.
Odoi is expected to play an important role if Ghana is to progress to the second round of the Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.
The veteran defender started his international career with the Belgium, playing from the U20 to the senior level, where he made a single appearance for the Red Devils.
He has now played nine times for the Black Stars and was a member of the team at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana will face Egypt and Mozambique in their next two games of Group B.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Rodrigues scored in additional time as Cape Verde surprised Ghana with an opening-day victory over the four-time African champions in their Group B opener.
