Ronaldo endured a frosty relationship with ten Hag during their time together at Old Trafford, leading to the forward's departure in January 2023.

At the time, the duo differed on a range of issues, with Ronaldo admitting he had no respect for the Dutchman because the tactician did not respect him.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Benzema has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
