FootballKarim Benzema: Manchester United Fans Say the Same Thing as Frenchman Is Linked to Club
- Karim Benzema has netted 15 goals in all competitions for Al Ittihad
- The Frenchman is however rumoured to be unsettled at the club
- Latest reports suggest the 36-year-old could join Manchester United on loan
Football fans all said the same thing on social media after sensational reports linked Karim Benzema with a move to Manchester United.
Benzema was among the big football names who left Europe last summer to join the Saudi Pro League.
He joined Al Ittihad, one of the big guns in the Saudi top flight, but has reportedly failed to settle in the Middle East, with reports now linking him with a return to Europe.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, United is among the clubs that could be interested in signing the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner.
The Red Devils are reportedly looking for an experienced centre forward who will help out youngster Rasmus Hojlund up front as the Norwegian tries to find his footing in the Premier League.
Benzema has proven himself to be a top striker during his stint in Europe, where he won multiple titles with Real Madrid.
At 36, he is showing little signs of slowing down. Despite his apparent failure to settle at Al Ittihad, he has no problems finding the net and has bagged 15 goals across all competitions for the Saudi club.
However, he has failed to show up for training recently, and according to Caught Offside, this has fueled reports of an exit.
The former Real Madrid star would be the ideal stopgap solution for United, whose struggles up front have been there for all to see.
One person who has welcomed Benzema’s potential move to United is former Red Devil Louis Saha, who recently told AS:

Football"Benzema would change United's attack, and that's exactly what they need now. He would definitely score goals and also ensure better team play. For now it is just a dream, but Karim is still very professional."
On social media, United fans welcomed the move, as they claimed Benzema could be the missing link to an otherwise formidable attack.
