Jesse Lingard can’t be free from Paul Scholes after the Manchester United legend yet again aimed a dig at the free agent on Instagram.

Lingard is in Dubai undergoing a personal fitness regime as he seeks an opportunity to sign for a club and get his career back on track.

He has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest, where he spent a year upon leaving Manchester United after 11 years in the Red Devils' first team.

Per Daily Star, he could have joined the Saudi Arabia train, but Al-Ettifaq opted against signing him due to his wage demands after spending a month on trial at the club.

Paul Scholes trolls Lingard again

The 31-year-old previously shared pictures of himself in the gym, which prompted an explicit comment from Scholes, which was seen in a bad light by fans.

As spotted by SportBible, the two are back at it. This time, Lingard shared photos of his ball work on Instagram, which got another reaction from the legend-turned-pundit.

The 49-year-old former player appears to be pleased the winger is now working with the ball but asked him to bring 10 more players, indirectly telling him to find a club.

Lingard dropped in with a comment suggesting there was no bad blood between the two and fans possibly took the previous incident out of context.

The England international also cheekily asked the United legend to get him into his new gym, referring to Scholes Gym in Oldham, which opened last year.
