Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi has been nominated for a bizarre award weeks after he scooped the Ballon d'Or.
Messi has won countless individual awards throughout his illustrious football career, playing for Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Miami, and Argentina.
According to SPORTbible, the legendary forward has four Champions League winners' medals and the World Cup in his collection.
Individually, the 36-year-old has a record eight Ballon d'Or awards to his name, securing a record-extending eighth last November.
At the time, Messi saw off stiff competition from several players, including Man City hotshot Erling Haaland, to win the prestigious prize.

However, the Argentine could add yet another gong to his incredible collection in the coming days.
This is after he was nominated for a prize at the ESLAND awards, organised by Spanish YouTuber TheGrefg.
The former PSG ace has been nominated under the 'Anger of the Year' category.
It is understood that the forward earned the bizarre nomination following his clash with YouTuber Ibai Llanos moments after he won his eighth Ballon d'Or.
At the time, Goal reported that Messi called out the YouTuber for sharing their text messages in public.
"I'm not going to answer you anymore because you make everything public, and I don't like it…the Ballon d’Or? Now you are changing the topic you son of a b*tch," Messi was quoted saying.
