Former Mamelodi Sundowns manager, Pitso Mosimane, is still a top target for Premier Soccer League side, Kaizer Chiefs, despite links with the Saudi Pro League.
The veteran South African manager has been linked with several domestic and national teams since he parted ways with UAE Pro League side, Al Wahda, last year.
Mosimane is reportedly wanted by Saudi Pro League strugglers, Abha Club, with reports claiming that the 59-year-old and the club have already held discussions.
The Saudi Arabian club reportedly decided to pursue the South African coach due to their poor run of form, which has left them in 17th on the top flight table.
Mosimane also remains top of the list of managers Kaizer Chiefs are looking to appoint on a permanent basis, according to a report by Soccer Laduma.
Cavin Johnson could remain as AmaKhosi coach until the end of the season, having done a decent job since taking over the club's reins on an interim basis.
However, sources confirmed 'Jingles' remained the preferred candidate as the Kaizer Chiefs board believes he is the only one who can turn the club's fortunes around.
While a return to the PSL or the Saudi Arabian league are both on the cards for the South African, he appears to be taking his time before coming to his final decision.
Mosimane is reportedly not the only coach AmaKhosi are looking at. Also on the list is Zimbabwe's Kallisto Pasuwa, who won the quadruple in Malawi over the weekend.
