West Ham United will be looking to navigate their upcoming matches without Mohammed Kudus.
The London-based club, which are currently sixth in the Premier League table, could be without their star midfielder for up to a whole month.
The Ghanaian star will be in the Ivory Coast for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and will miss some key games for the Hammers.
The 23-year-old has been a vital cog for manager, David Moyes's side and his absence will be felt tremendously at London Stadium.
With the AFCON set to start on January 13 and the final being contested on February 11, Sports Brief looks at the matches Kudus could miss for West Ham during that stretch.

Ghana will play three group-stage matches from January 14 to 22. Kudus already missed West Ham's Premier League game against Brighton on January 2 as he was already called up by his country for international duty, per Yahoo Sports.
Kudus also missed the FA Cup match against Bristol City, which ended in a 1-1 draw, per The Guardian.
He will also miss the Hammers' upcoming matches against Bristol City (an FA Cup Replay) and Sheffield United in the Premier League because of the AFCON.

He will miss their Premier League matches against Bournemouth on February 1, Manchester United on February 4, and Arsenal on February 11.
If the Hammers beat Bristol City in the FA Cup on January 16, Kudus will also miss their fourth-round tie scheduled for January 27 and 28.

Games Osimhen will miss for Napoli
A Napoli ace is another African who will be missing some time with his club due to this year's AFCON.
Sports Brief previously reported Napoli could be without Victor Osimhen for as many as six matches.
Napoli are currently ninth in the Serie A table and will struggle to retain their title in the Italian league.
