The Spanish midfielder, whose side took on CR7’s Al-Nassr in their final game of the year, spoke about how he hoped the Portuguese superstar would get the chance to play alongside Cristiano Junior.

Medran, who is a massive fan of the former Manchester United star, said the father and son would compete to see who was better and who would take penalty kicks.

Medran describes Ronaldo as the greatest

While many are torn between Ronaldo and Messi as to who the greatest of all time is, Medran has no doubts.

The Al-Taawoun star is confident that Ronaldo is the greatest player in the game's history.

Cristiano vs Cristiano Jr

While Medran may be a bit hopeful that the father and son duo compete alongside one another, his wish may not be that farfetched.

Cristiano Jr is 13 years old and recently signed for Al-Nassr, Sports Illustrated reported.

He was previously at Juventus’ youth side, while his father played at the Serie A side and featured for United and Real Madrid.

Now competing in the youth setup at the same club that his father captains, Cristiano Junior could potentially join his father in the main team one day. Ronaldo is 38, but he has no plans to slow down just yet.

Ronaldo's World Cup dream

The former Madrid superstar aims to play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Goal reported, and reach 250 international appearances for his country.

If he does continue playing until then, CR7 would be 41, while his son will be 16.

With Lamine Yamal proving that 16-year-olds can compete with the big boys, it would not be strange to see the young Ronaldo also making his professional debut at that age.

Ronaldo vs Messi: Sarabia picks his GOAT

Sports Brief also reported on Pablo Sarabia sharing his perspective on two of football's greatest, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. When asked to pick between them, the Spanish winger had high praise for both icons.

Ultimately, the 31-year-old leaned towards Ronaldo as his preferred player, choosing him over Messi and Neymar.
