According to Sky Sports, the former Atalanta forward, who arrived at Old Trafford injured, penned a five-year contract deal with the EPL side.

While Hojlund enjoyed a bright start with United in their Champions League campaign by scoring five goals, he has endured his fair share of struggles when it comes to the Premier League.

Until Tuesday night, the youngster was yet to score a top-flight goal in any of the appearances he has made for the Erik ten Hag-tutored side.

Hojlund bags first EPL goal

However, he ended the long wait for his first EPL goal against Aston Villa, with the forward among United's goalscorers during their epic comeback win at Old Trafford.

The hosts found themselves trailing Villa at the interval after goals from John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker.

However, the second half of the match saw the Red Devils stage a dramatic comeback to cart home the three points, with Alejandro Garnacho bagging a brace.

Sportbible reports that Hojlund went on to score United's winner with nine minutes left on the clock, with his strike enough to send the side to sixth in the Premier League table.

Onana's celebration goes viral

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on a video of Andre Onana's wild celebration during United's comeback win, becoming one of the highlights of the Tuesday night clash.

The embattled goalkeeper was caught on camera in non-broadcasted footage celebrating Garnacho's equaliser and Hojlund's winner.

In the video, the Cameroonian shotstopper can be seen sprinting towards the Old Trafford fans in celebration while pumping the air with joy.
