- Shandre Campbell has been linked with a possible move to PSL outfit Kaizer Chiefs
- The teenager has been in remarkable form for SuperSport United this season
- Benedict ‘Tso’ Vilakazi has told AmaKhosi to take advantage and sign the sensation
A former Orlando Pirates star, Benedict ‘Tso’ Vilakazi, has urged Kaizer Chiefs to make haste in signing impressive youngster Shandre Campbell.
It was gathered that Mamelodi Sundowns are also interested in the teenage sensation, but Vilakazi wants AmaKhosi to take advantage quickly.
Campbell was outstanding as SuperSport United came from behind to defeat Pirates in the battle for second place.
He netted a brace in the encounter and also set up another, helping his side to a 3-1 win.
His performance impressed Tso, who has now told Kaizer Chiefs to make an effort to sign him before their rivals.
Tso said, via iDiski Times:
“Kaizer Chiefs need to sign this young boy before Mamelodi Sundowns sign him. Shandre Campbell scored two goals tonight, and he is only 18 years old. His value is still low.
“I would advise Chiefs to be quick and sign this boy. Last season, I said it with Thapelo Maseko that he will be signed by Sundowns and that’s exactly what happened.
"Chiefs doesn’t need to waste any time with Campbell, he is the real deal.
"Gavin Hunt planned for Orlando Pirates really good. It was a convincing win for Supersport United. The game was played at a high tempo from the first whistle.
“Tactically, Hunt employed Grant Magerman and Siphesihle Ndlovu to man-mark Miguel Timm and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and the plan paid off."
