His fellow Amakhosi striker, Jassond Gonzalez, has also struggled to score this season. He has failed to find the net this season. Ranga Chivaviro has scored just once all season.

Interim Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson said they need time to adapt to the South African league.

“I hope he’s able to get his head or feet scoring, whatever they have to do and maybe he will be better but in all respect to him and Saile – they South African game is not easy to adapt to as a foreigner, especially if they speak French or Spanish," via iDiski Times.

Chiefs are 6th in the DStv Premiership with 23 points from 15 games. They have scored 15 goals this season.

Saile on his goalscoring struggles

The 24-year-old recently explained why the goals are not coming this season. Saile joined Kaizer Chiefs in January 2023 and is probably still finding his feet.

"Obviously, the leagues are not the same. The PSL is a bit difficult, I needed a bit of time to adapt. I feel like I'm getting there," via Kick Off.
"I'm working hard to start scoring goals and getting the confidence."
"In Zambia, there's a lot of running and here, it's more possessions football."

The striker has already worked under three different coaches at Chiefs.

Mosimane's challenge in accepting Chiefs job

Sports Brief previously reported that Mosimane explained the challenge he faces in taking up the vacant coaching job at PSL giants, Kaizer Chiefs. Mosimane is currently unemployed but has been linked with several clubs.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns boss has confirmed he is open to taking up a new challenge with a new team when the Christmas holiday is over.

Mosimane, in a recent interview posted on YouTube by Sunday World News, explained the major obstacle he has in taking up the AmaKhosi job as Sports Brief earlier reported.
