In a recent chat with Sports Live with BBK, the veteran coach said some of his relatives settled in Kenya.

"We have two families we always travel together. Last time we went to Zanzibar, a beautiful place in East Africa that is in Tanzania. I love Africa, I miss Africa"
"I have a family in Kenya because one of my father's brothers moved there during the time of apartheid. You know the story where people go away to exile and they never come back, he stayed there. He married there, and that Mosimane clan is there."

He later narrated that they discussed the possibility of going to Nairobi for a holiday.

Mosimane is regarded as one of the best African coaches. He joined Sundowns in 2012, where he delivered the South African Premiership title in 2013/14, 2015/16, 2017/18 and 2018/19, as well as the CAF Champions League in 2016, per ESPN.
