Manchester City are 90 minutes away from winning their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup title. Pep Guardiola's side eased past Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan to set up a date against Brazil's Fluminense in the Friday final.

Goals from Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva and Marius Hoibraaten's own goal were enough to see the treble winners through in the competition's semi-final on December 19.

How City qualified for Club World Cup

The Citizens booked their ticket in the Saudi Arabia tournament after winning their maiden UEFA Champions League title last season. They toiled past the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid before beating Inter Milan in the June 10 final, as captured on UEFA's website.

They will now be aiming to win every trophy at their disposal when they face the Brazilian opposition at the King Abdullah Sports City. Apart from the silverware at stake, the winner stands to gain awesome financial rewards.

As SI reports, a total of $16 million will be shared amongst all seven participants, depending on their finishes. At the moment, Man City is guaranteed at least $4mil, which is the amount the runners-up will win. However, Pep Guardiola's side can increase it to $5mil if they win the whole thing.
