Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge offers KSh 4 million reward for his missing dog

Daniel Sturridge has begged the public for help after burglars broke into his house to steal his dog while he was away with his friends.

The former Liverpool star came back home only to discover his dog was stolen alongside other valuables.

The 29-year-old striker immediately took to social media to appeal for the return of his dog in an emotional plea to the public.

The Englishman is now offering a cash reward of KSh 4 million (£30,000) for the return of the Pomeranian dog with husky markings.

In a short video posted on his Instagram, broken glass from a door where thieves gained access to the house are shown.

“Listen, somebody has broken into the house in LA and took my dog from the house," Sturridge said
“Listen, whoever knows who broke into my crib, I’ll pay you anything," he continued.

The dog, named Lucky Lucci often accompanies Sturridge on his travels and has an Instagram page with more than 2,000 followers.

Meanwhile, the star striker is currently without a club after being released by the Reds at the end of last season

He made 18 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side in the 2018-19 season, scoring two goals, one of with was a sensational strike against his former club Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

He also played seven matches in the Champions League and registered one goal.
