Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has partnered with charity organisation BigShoe to provide container shelters for families affected by the earthquake in Morocco.
The North African nation was hit by a devastating 7.2-magnitude quake in September, leaving about 3000 people dead.
The villages of Al Haouz and Taroudant were the most affected by the disaster, leaving 84 families displaced.
Saka joined hands with BigShoe to build container shelters for the affected families while donating jerseys and footballs to young children.
The containers were equipped with a sleeping area, kitchen, bathroom with a washbasin, toilet and shower, as well as power sockets and protective grills.
"I was shocked when I heard about the terrible earthquake in Morocco, but in the second moment, I knew that I really want to help, and we started to look at what we can do to help the displaced families," said Saka as quoted by Yahoo Sports.
"We found a way to help relatively quickly, and we were able to put a roof over their head and give some comfort and hope to those who have lost everything through no fault of their own.
“The 84 families and, above all, the 89 children in the containers can regain a piece of their everyday lives. In situations where people are fighting for survival, losing their homes or their loved ones, you become even more aware of the privileged situation you live in.”
Saka is enjoying a fine campaign in the Premier League with the Gunners, who currently sit top of the table in England.

Saka receives special message from England fan
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bukayo Saka is loved by England fans, and one of them went the extra mile to send a message to the Arsenal star while he was on international duty last night.
Saka is an integral part of Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions but started off the bench against Malta and came on in the second half for former Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori.
He assisted Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane for the second goal to help his country see out the win in a subpar performance from the Euro 2020 finalists.
