A goalkeeper from the Mexican top flight league has gone viral for sneakily hiding under a blanket to stay on the pitch after he was red-carded.
Nahuel Guzman was in action during a Liga MX final pitting Tigres UANL against and Club America.
However, Goal reports that the Argentinian could not see out the entire match as he was red-carded in the closing stages following two yellow cards in two minutes.
Guzman was handed his marching orders in the 95th minute of the clash and told to leave the pitch by centre referee, Adonai Escobedo.
But rather than go down the tunnel as required, the veteran goalkeeper had other ideas to stay on and watch the remainder of the tie.
Guzman hides under blanket
A video doing rounds on social media showed the 37-year-old hilariously pulling off a manoeuvre before hiding behind the net.
The video showed Guzman peeping from underneath a tarp as he watched the end of the contest.
However, he may have wanted to head down the tunnel as his side conceded two goals after his red card and eventually lost the final.
His antics caused a stir online, with fans taking to social media to react to his ingenious idea.
