Pitso Mosimane has confirmed when he would be ready to take up a new coaching job amid reports linking him with Kaizer Chiefs and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The former SuperSport United boss is still without a role since leaving Al Wadha and the UAE Pro League last month.
The 59-year-old tactician parted ways with the club after a string of poor performances and has since been linked with several top African club and national roles.
The South African coach confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) when he would be ready to take up a new challenge after being without a job since mid-November.
Mosimane, while reacting to Jay Harris' tweets about him being ready to take up a new challenge, claimed he would be back from the onset of the new year.
"Yes, ready to go after the Christmas holidays 💪🏿," Mosimane replied to Harris, a staff writer for The Athletic.
The South African has been notably and continually linked with Kaizer Chiefs recently.
In a recent interview with Sunday World Engage, Mosimane admitted that he still spoke with people at the club but had not been offered the coaching role.
"I also want to win things again, maybe with a different club or country. I would like to leave a legacy everywhere."
The tactician could also take on a national challenge, with Mosimane discussing coaching Nigeria's Super Eagles and stating it was a position he was considering, as Sports Brief reported.
