The English striker has achieved another impressive feat, proving that his decision to move to Germany was a good idea.
Kane grabbed a goal for Bayern Munich in the second minute of their game against VfB Stuttgart, latching onto a pass from Leroy Sane.
Sane managed to squeeze the ball past an onrushing keeper and slot it across the open net for Kane to finish.
The goal not only gave the Bundesliga champions an early lead but it also marked Kane’s 50th of the year.
With his goal against Stuttgart, he has already notched up 23 goals in all competitions for Bayern since the start of the new season in August.
Kane joins exclusive company
With his 50th goal of the year, Kane has joined an exclusive group of players to achieve the feat this year.
As noted by The Mirror, Cristiano Ronaldo was the first to achieve 50 goals in 2023. The Al-Nassr captain has been in impeccable form for the Saudi Pro League side and has been scoring for fun.
The other person to reach 50 in 2023 is Erling Haaland. The Manchester City striker is a goal-scoring machine who helped spearhead City to the treble last season.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe is not far off the trio and needs one more goal to achieve the feat. He will get that chance when PSG take on LOSC Lille in their next Ligue 1 fixture.
