Jose Mourinho has revisited one of his famous moments with Arsene Wenger during the height of their rivalry in the Premier League.

Mourinho, by virtue of his success and longevity, has had rivalries with elite managers over his career, the top among them being Wenger.

Mourinho is often credited with turning Chelsea into an English powerhouse when he took over the reins in 2004. At that time, Arsenal under Wenger and Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson were the title challengers. The Portuguese boss managed to win back-to-back titles and ruffled a couple of feathers along the way.

Arsene Wenger's 1000th game

His most famous phrase on Wenger came when he called the Frenchman a 'Specialist in failure.' As fate would have it, Wenger's 1000th game as a manager came against the Blues in March 2014 during Mourinho's second stint.

Chelsea were two to the good inside 15 minutes before the centre referee Andre Marriner gave Kieran Gibbs a red card meant for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. The game went downhill after that for the Gunners, conceding a further four on what was supposed to be Wenger's memorable game.

Appearing on John Obi-Mikel's podcast, Obi One, Mourinho has now revived memories of how the game went down for his opposite number.

"The only thing that Arsène Wenger cannot forget is his match number 1000, which is a match to remember and to celebrate: Chelsea 6, Arsenal 0."

The entire podcast will be released on December 18.

The two managers almost came to blows the following season when Wenger pushed Mourinho. The current AS Roma boss responded by flicking Wenger's tie, as relived by the Daily Mail.

Mourinho's lookalike spotted dancing

Sports Brief also reported on AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho's lookalike dance video trending on social media weeks ago.

The unidentified man was dancing to American rapper Lil Baby's My Dawg, and football fans picked it up, asking the Special One to be careful of dropping a stinker lest he would be trolled.
