Mohamed Salah transfer hint dropped

Meanwhile, former Liverpool star Fabinho does not expect Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool during the January transfer window with Saudi Arabian clubs interested in signing the Egyptian forward, Daily Mirror reports.

The Brazilian left Liverpool to join Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League over the summer and they also attempted to sign Salah, with the Reds rejecting a £150m bid for their star man.

Fabinho does not believe Salah will be joining him in Saudi Arabia next month claiming the 31-year-old forward is happy at Anfield.

Drogba praises African legend Salah

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Didier Drogba and Mohamed Salah are two of the greatest African Premier League players ever.

The Chelsea legend paid tribute to the Liverpool star after he again entered the record books on Saturday.

The 45-year-old took to social media to praise Salah, even digging up an old tweet six years ago in his message to the Egyptian star.
