Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has emerged as a target for English Premier League side Nottingham Forest ahead of the winter transfer window.

The highly-rated forward has been on the radar of several clubs with Major League Soccer giants LA Galaxy and Russian outfit Spartak Moscow interested in the Ghana international.

Currently on the books of Red Star Belgrade, Bukari has been in incredible form for the Serbian giants, contributing 12 goals this season.

According to Nottingham Forest News, the Premier League club sent scouts to Serbia to watch the winger in the UEFA Champions League game against Manchester City. Bukari provided an assist as Red Star lost 3-2 at home to the European champions.

Nottingham had watched the 25-year-old back in September, in the reverse fixture in England, where the Black Stars forward scored in the 3-1 defeat at the Etihad.

Bukari has been the livewire for Red Star since joining the club in 2022, helping the Belgrade-based club to a domestic treble last season.

He previously played for Accra Lions in Ghana, Anderlecht and KAA Gent in Belgium before enjoying an outstanding loan spell with FC Nantes in Ligue 1, per Transfermarkt.

Osman Bukari scores in Red Star's draw

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian winger, Osman Bukari continued with his red-hot form in the UEFA Champions League after scoring late to rescue a point for Red Star Belgrade against Young Boys.

Bukari, who created the opener by providing the assist for Cherif Ndiaye's goal, was also named Man of the Match following his outstanding performance.

The Ghana international has now scored two goals and provided an assist in two matches in the UEFA Champions League.

Sports Brief also reported that Ghanaian winger, Osman Bukari netted his first-ever goal in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League after opening the scoring in the match against Manchester City at the Etihad.

The Black Stars forward broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time after beating the offside trap to connect to Mirko Ivanic's pass.

Bukari helped Red Star Belgrade reach the group stage following a string of excellent performances in the qualifiers.
