Erik ten Hag has reportedly drawn up a five-man transfer shortlist of players he wants Manchester United to sign ahead of the January transfer window.
United are expected to embark on a somewhat busy window during the winter following their dismal run of form across competitions so far this season.
The Red Devils have been unable to hit the ground running since the start of the campaign, with their inconsistencies occasioning their elimination from the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Ten Hag's transfer wishlist
Reports claim that the Dutchman has already identified five players that he wants United to sign to help him strengthen his squad.
While the goalkeeping department has posed a big challenge in the wake of Andre Onana's struggles, it is believed that defence and the striking areas have been identified for reinforcement.
In light of this, Brentford star Ivan Toney is said to be top on Ten Hag's wishlist, with the striker available for sale.
However, the Red Devils will have to contend with competition from rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, who have also been linked with a move for Toney, per Sportbible.
Leipzig striker Timo Werner is also believed to be on Ten Hag's radar, alongside Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy.
Meanwhile, Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite and Jean-Claire Todibo have been targeted to strengthen United's defence.
