FootballWhy Carlo Ancelotti Compared Jude Bellingham to Brazilian Legend Who Played for Real Madrid
- Jude Bellingham has hit the ground running since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund
- Bellingham has since drawn comparisons with former Madrid legends like Zinedine Zidane
- Carlo Ancelotti likened Bellingham's style of play to that of a former Brazilian star, Kaka
Jude Bellingham’s star has continued to rise since he joined Real Madrid.
The English youngster was seen as an exceptional talent at Borussia Dortmund and has further cemented that belief at Madrid.
Bellingham’s performances have caught the eye of many and have seen him draw comparisons with past legends. One of those legends that Bellingham has been compared to is former Los Blancos star Kaka.
Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, known as Kaka, played for the Spanish side between 2009 and 2013.
A former Ballon d’Or winner, he made 120 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring 29 goals and notching up 39 assists, Transfermarkt reported.
Why Ancelotti sees Kaka in Bellingham
The current Madrid boss recently compared his new star to one of his former stars, 90 MIN reported. Ancelotti was the boss of AC Milan in the mid-2000s when Kaka was in his prime.
Ancelotti has now said that the Brazilian is the closest player he could compare the in-form Bellingham to.
While the Englishman reminded him of Kaka, he did note that there were differences.
"Kaka got into the box a lot with the ball. He didn't have as much quality to get there without the ball, like Bellingham,” he said.
"In general Kaka was very good on the ball, and Bellingham's movement off the ball is very effective," Ancelotti added.
The former Brazilian star isn’t the only legend that Bellingham has drawn comparisons with. In recent times, may have compared the Englishman to former French international Zinedine Zidane.
