Messi buys Sunny Isles property

Messi first put down roots in the United States in 2019 when he purchased an oceanfront condo in Sunny Isles Beach, Miami, for $5 million.

The three-bedroom and four-and-a-half bathroom property measuring 3,555 square feet is in the Porsche Design Tower.

The luxury condo, built in 2016, has a glass car elevator. This feature allows residents to access their vehicles without the need to exit their living quarters, a plus for high-profile tenants such as Messi, who yearn for privacy.

The Argentine star’s unit had panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The private balcony also had a swimming pool, providing Messi and his family a beautiful place to relax and unwind.

He reportedly put the condo back on the market for $7 million, $2 million more than he bought it for.

Messi buys another Miami property

Messi fell in love with South Beach and decided to pick up another property in Miami. He bought the entire ninth floor of the Regalia, a development not far from his Sunny Isles condo, for $7.3 million, per Architectural Digest.

The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom unit has a climate-controlled wine room that can hold 1,000 bottles.

It also has a 2,100-square-foot terrace that wraps around the entire unit on the ninth floor.

He wasn’t totally enamored of the place, though, as he opted to relist the unit just seven months after buying it.

Messi acquires Fort Lauderdale property

Messi decided to splash the cash after sealing his move to Inter Miami, buying a 10-bedroom, nine-and-a-half-bathroom estate in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for $10.75 million.

The 10,500-square-foot property is located along a waterway in the gated community of Bay Colony, per WPTV.

The sprawling estate has a three-car garage and a swimming pool with two docks.

The home also has 170 feet of waterfront.

Messi chose to buy this property as it is only 15 minutes away from Inter Miami’s home stadium.
