Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak are dreaming of appointing former Mamelodi Sundowns manager Pitso Mosimane as their new coach amid the South African's links with Kaizer Chiefs.
The former Al-Ahly coach is presently in the market after leaving UAE Pro League outfits Al Wahda last month.
The 59-year-old has been linked with a return to the Premier Soccer League (PSL), with Kaizer Chiefs being the most interested side.
There were reports also linking him with a return to the Egyptian Premier League (EPL), with Zamalek being at the forefront.
In a recent interview, Hearts of Oak board member, Vincent Odotei Sowah acknowledged that the club are interested in bringing Mosimane to the Ghanaian Premier League, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.
"Those of us in charge of Hearts of Oak now, we want to bring someone like Pitso Mosimane," he said.
Sowah went further to disclose what could stop the 21-time Ghana Premier League champions from hiring the South African tactician.
"Can we afford him? Do you know how much he was paid being at Al Ahly? The point I am trying to make is that, when appointing a coach, a lot of considerations come into play," he added.
“If the fans are patient with us a bit, we believe we will get to a stage where we can attract world-class coaches."
