Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia striker Sadio Mane is being touted for an English Premier League return, according to multiple reports.

A number of their first-team players are out injured, while Sandro Tonali has been handed a ban following disciplinary actions.

It was gathered that Newcastle United are very close to their spending limit due to Financial Fair Play rules, which could force the club to shop for players in Saudi Arabia, according to Hard Tackle.

Saudi Public Investment Fund owns Newcastle, and they also own several clubs in the Middle East, meaning the Magpies can sign players who have recently joined Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad or Al-Ahli.

The Premier League club have been linked with several players from the Middle East, and Sadio Mane's name has also emerged.

The former Liverpool winger will add goals, creativity and experience to their ranks. His arrival could boost the morale of others around him, and the Magpies might be able to fulfil their expectations for this season.

Al Nassr celebrates Mane's international milestone

Sports Brief earlier reported that Sadio Mane was celebrated by Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr teammates for reaching yet another remarkable feat while on international duty with Senegal.

The former Liverpool forward returned from the international break with full fitness, and he is ready for the Knights of Najd's next game in the Saudi Pro League.

Mane hit a landmark of 100 appearances for the Teranga Lions against Tanzania a few days ago and marked it with a brace in the game.
