Cristiano Ronaldo is a proven winner, and Portugal International has vowed to bring the glory days back to Al-Nassr as the club continues its chase for its first league title since 2019.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has had 39 goals in 46 games across competitions for the Saudi Pro League club since joining them in January this year, but winning trophies is the major target for him.
According to Sportskeeda, Ronaldo has made a vow to Al-Nassr’s supporters that he plans to win more than five championships with them before he even considers retiring from football.
"I will not retire from football until I achieve more than five championships with Al-Nassr Club. They are the greatest fans in the world. And I will never forget them as long as I live."
Al-Nassr are currently second behind Al-Hilal on the Saudi Pro League standings, but Ronaldo is optimistic his team can upstage the leaders to win their first league title in four years.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo scored one goal and assisted another for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr in his 1,200th professional match, a new milestone in the Portugal international’s career, BBC reports.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner became the first man to make 200 international appearances for Portugal against Iceland in June, and he is also the top international goal scorer with 128 goals.
Among his club career appearance statistics, Ronaldo leads the way with 183 Champions League appearances for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Senegalese forward Sadio Mane is back to contributing goals for Al-Nassr after delivering an inch-perfect cross to assist Cristiano Ronaldo for the opener against Al-Riyadh.
Al-Nassr got off to a bright start as they looked to recover from the humiliating defeat to Al-Hilal last week.
Having created several chances in the early minutes of the game, the breakthrough finally came in the 31st minute when Ronaldo met Mane's cross in the box.
