Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane is back to contributing goals for Al-Nassr after delivering an inch-perfect cross for Cristiano Ronaldo's opener against Al-Riyadh.

The Knights of Najd got off to a bright start as they looked to recover from the humiliating defeat to Al-Hilal a week earlier.

Having created several chances in the early minutes of the game, the breakthrough finally came in the 31st minute when Ronaldo met Mane's cross in the box.

In a video shared on social media, the ex-Liverpool star took on his marker before sending in a floating cross into the box as the Portuguese star approached at the far end.

The Al-Nassr captain made no mistake in giving them the lead.

Later on in the first half, the Portuguese superstar went from scorer to provider, serving his compatriot, Otavio for Al-Nassr's second of the game.

Mane and Ronaldo, alongside Brazilian winger Anderson Talisca, have been the main stars for the Knights of Najd as they chase the league title.

Al-Nassr closed the gap on Al-Hilal to seven points with the 4-1 win.

Ronaldo reaches new milestone with Al-Nassr

Sports Brief previously reported on Ronaldo reaching another new milestone after starting for Al-Nassr in their clash against Al-Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League.

The Knights of Najd were looking to bounce back after a humiliating Riyadh Derby defeat to Al-Hilal, with the 38-year-old stifled but still atop the scoring chart.
